Information on training sessions:
Please make sure you have read page 32 of Basketball England's Return To Play guidance document.
Please check your child is well and remember to bring a completed screening form with you or fill out the online form.
Players will be asked to come to the waiting area by one of their coaches, where they will be screened (questions asked) and temperature checked. If the player has a high temperature they will move to a social distance area to wait 5 minutes before being temperature checked again. If a player does have a high temperature they will be asked to leave the training session that week.
Parents are asked to wait in their cars while your child is checked in. Once they move to the court you can then leave. Sorry there is no facility for you to watch the sessions.
Players will come round to the front of the building and wait at cones spaced 2 metres apart, please can we ask for a prompt collection as we have other groups arriving. Parents are to remain in their cars.
Players need to bring with them in a bag that can be closed:
Plenty of fluids as we are not able to fill up their bottles
Snack if they would like to
Own Hand Sanitizer and wipes if they would like to
Face Mask which can be worn during the session if they want to, but must be worn if any medical help is given. Coaches will wear Full PPE if this has to happen, facemasks, gloves and aprons.
Each player will leave their bag in a designated area.
Players should not bring along phones, headphones / airpods or money.
There will be hand sanitiser stations in the sports hall for players to regularly use. Basketballs and equipment will also be cleaned by the coaches during the sessions.
